Good eats aficionados rejoice! Just in time for the holidays, the French Baker is introducing a number of new dishes full of hearty, filling goodness, straight from the French bistro-cooking canon.

A brasserie is a cafe-cum-restaurant with a relaxed setting, which is often open all day to serve single dishes and reasonably-priced meals. The food is made simply, with best-quality ingredients. As the French Baker moves to combine this concept with their trademark fresh breads and baked goods, you are now invited to partake of their new specialties.

And it gets better: now you can choose your meal in comfort, as you relax at your table. You can take your own sweet time picking out what to get from the menu, and when you're ready, go up to the cashier and order.

The service is fast, discreet, and efficient, and you'll dine surrounded by the best of what the French Baker has to offer.

The new branches have also been remodeled to resemble more closely a typical Parisian brasserie: warm wood accents, quirky but airy murals on the walls, and a dash of the cutting edge in technology with the in-store wall-mounted video monitor.

Start off with the Prawn Bisque: a soup full of prawns and the taste of the sea, finished off with cream and a luxurious broth. If you feel like having a light meal, follow it up with Chicken Salad Croissant - a full-sized croissant split in half and stuffed with fresh vegetables and chicken salad, served with chips.
Heartier eaters will find new flavors and dishes to taste, too. Try the Beef Burgundy, the French Baker's version of the hearty Boeuf Bourgignon, which is a mix of choice beef and tongue (lengua) stewed in rich Burgundy wine, garnished with shiitake mushrooms and black and green olives. Pasta fans can order the new Chicken Parmigiana Spaghetti, with its sauce of tomatoes and herbs topped with Parmesan cheese and a breaded chicken cutlet.

If you're a fan of such French Baker classics such as Soup in a Bread Bowl, Chicken a la King, and their classic Spicy Seafood Pasta, fret not - they're still yours for the ordering!

Pair any of the dishes old and new with the French Baker's trademark breads and baked goods, always baked fresh every day.
